ITR’s 2021 EMEA Tax Awards honors Deloitte with 26 awards 

MALTA, 15 September 2021 – Deloitte practices won 26 awards across 30 jurisdictions at the International Tax Review (ITR) 2021 EMEA Tax Awards. Deloitte was recognised as the EMEA Tax Firm of the Year and Tax Compliance & Reporting Firm of the Year for the fifth consecutive year. Other regional accolades include the Tax Innovator of the Year and Tax Technology Provider of the Year awards. These awards celebrate Deloitte’s commitment to client service excellence despite the challenges presented during the pandemic. 

Deloitte also earned several national awards, winning National Tax Firm of the Year in eight jurisdictions, including Africa, Austria, Belgium, CEE, Cyprus, Luxembourg, Malta, and Switzerland. Additionally, Deloitte won the National Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year in twelve jurisdictions including Austria, Baltic States, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Middle East, Norway, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland. Deloitte was also awarded two Impact Deal of the Year Awards for its work in two high-profile transactions.

The awards submissions are judged based on innovation, level of impact, complexity of matter, and scale of projects completed over a twelve-month period.

This is the ninth time that Deloitte Malta has been awarded 'Malta Tax Firm of the Year'. The other years in which Deloitte Malta has won the prestigious award are 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
