Since its founding in 2008, Houston-based Pacific Drilling has become a premier ultra-deepwater drilling contractor in the oil and natural gas industry. It has grown from zero to about 1,200 employees, and owns a fleet of technologically advanced drillships that operate in some of the most remote locations in the world.
