Emma Bartolo

Emma joined Deloitte in 2010 after graduating as a qualified accountant. She has been involved in both local and international audits, predominately within the financial services sector, involving mainly alternative investment funds, investment management companies and other institutions such as licensed stockbrokers. She was also seconded for two months to Luxembourg during 2014.

Emma has taken over the role as a regulatory specialist within the financial services industry, with particular focus on investment services licenceholders as well as collective investment schemes licensed and regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority.

As part of her role, Emma has dealt with regulatory and compliance matters impacting collective investment schemes pursuant to EU directives, namely UCITS IV and the AIFMD. She is also involved in providing internal regulatory support to the audit function and liaises with the local regulator on areas relating to regulatory reporting.
