Deloitte Malaysia unveils TTDI Deloitte MRT station

KUALA LUMPUR, 30 January 2024 – Deloitte Malaysia officially unveiled the TTDI Deloitte MRT station today, marking its integration into the network of 29 stations along the MRT Kajang line, used by more than 220,000 daily riders. The unveiling ceremony was graced by YB Tuan Anthony Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport. Also in attendance were Yee Wing Peng, CEO of Deloitte Malaysia; Philip Yuen, Chair of Deloitte Southeast Asia; Datuk Mohd Zarif Hashim, CEO of MRT Corp; and Mohd Shahreza Maswan, Director of Land Management & Activation, MRT Corp.

The TTDI Deloitte MRT station serves as an essential nexus for the TTDI community, connecting people and businesses across the Klang Valley to TTDI. The station also provides tremendous convenience for Deloitte employees who commute to work via the MRT.

“Deloitte's sponsorship of the TTDI MRT station exemplifies a successful private‐public partnership, aligning with the Madani Government’s principles of collaboration for the betterment of society. We appreciate their commitment to this cause, and we look forward to having more corporate entities join us in this undertaking. With this sponsorship by Deloitte, I hope the rakyat will get better facilities and experiences at our MRT stations.” - YB Anthony Loke, Minister of Transport

The Station Naming Rights program is an initiative by MRT Corp that presents an opportunity for corporations to participate in brand storytelling at the MRT stations while expanding the reach of their corporate exposure. It is a noteworthy example of how public‐private partnerships can elevate the delivery of public services and infrastructure initiatives by providing an additional revenue stream to be utilised for the maintenance and upkeep of the MRT infrastructure.

“This collaboration with MRT Corp goes deeper than just our name on a station – it’s about building a community in TTDI and contributing to a sustainable and robust public transportation system. Deloitte is very proud to be a part of the TTDI community and we are constantly looking for ways to give back. I look forward to working together with MRT Corp to further enhance the connectivity and accessibility of our urban public transportation system in the Klang Valley, which will amongst others, contribute directly towards improving the productivity of our workforce and attracting more domestic and foreign direct investments.”Yee Wing Peng, CEO, Deloitte Malaysia

“We thank Deloitte for their participation in the Station Naming Rights Program which significantly contributes to the upkeep and maintenance of our stations. Since the MRT TTDI Deloitte Station started operations in December 2016, we have witnessed a significant growth in ridership, which adds substantial brand value to Deloitte by expanding their reach and visibility. In essence, the Station Naming Rights Program is a great marketing opportunity for corporate exposure and brand storytelling while also enabling corporate entities an opportunity to contribute towards a greater public cause.”Datuk Mohd Zarif Hashim, CEO, MRT Corp
