Public seminar

In light of the recent introduction of new accounting standards by the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (the Board), Deloitte Malaysia hosted a public seminar on 20 February 2019 to address MFRS 15 Revenue from Contracts with Customers, MFRS 9 Financial Instruments, and MFRS 16 Leases, and how these standards will pose key implementation challenges for entities. The seminar was divided into two sessions, where the first session focused on the extensive disclosure requirements by MFRS 15 Revenue from Contracts and MFRS 7 Financial Instruments: Disclosures, while the second session discussed the requirements of MFRS 16 Leases.
