Exclusive Invitation to FSI Regulatory Talk Series
Session 10: Regulatory Reporting with Data Analytics and RPA
Friday, 30 August 2019 l 9.00 a.m. – 12.00 p.m.
Subsequent to the internal compliance audit on Statistical Reporting requirements, BNM has issued the Data Quality Framework, which came into effect on 1 September 2018.
Regulatory Reporting is now a high priority for many financial institutions, both in the preparer and independent audit teams, to address the increasing demands and expectations from local regulators on data quality.
This session is catered exclusively to the reporting and independent audit teams from the banking sector, to discuss common hotspots for Statistical Reporting and insights on compliance to the requirements in the Data Quality Framework.
In addition, we have planned presentations by SMEs, who will share their experience and knowledge on the evolution of reporting practices. For example, the application of new technologies, such as robotic process automation (RPA), in the Statistical Reporting space, with a demo on RPA in enhancing the quality and efficiency of reporting.
Designed specifically for statistical reporting teams and internal auditors, this complimentary talk will offer insights into common hotspots, as well as providing a strategic roadmap for an effective implementation of the Data Quality Framework.
