Recognition at the ITR Asia Tax Awards 2019
Confidence to lead
The ITR Asia Tax Awards celebrate the best tax and transfer pricing work across the Asia Pacific region in the last 12 months, using a thorough research process that combines input from tax practitioners and their clients. Firms and in-house tax teams across 20 countries were nominated for the various awards. The 2019 winners were announced at a ceremony held in Singapore on 9 May 2019 and Deloitte Malaysia has proudly obtained the Tax Firm of the Year award. We also achieved the Regional Impact Cases of the Year award, earning recognition with our case on Tax policy development for Labuan International Insurance Association Malaysia.
For 2019, we are pleased to announce that we have received top-tier rankings for all the jurisdictions that were surveyed.
In the Tax controversy category; Deloitte Malaysia surpassed all other Big Four firms by being the only Big Four firm that was ranked either Tier 1 or 2. This is a fantastic achievement as it stands us apart from the other Big Four firms.
