August Schirmer

August holds an MSc in Economics of Energy, Natural Resources, and the Environment from the Norwegian School of Economics, and is a certified SAFe Lean Portfolio Manager, SPC and Scrum Master.

August has been a part of Deloitte Consulting for 6 years, thriving on a wide array of complex, strategic and organizational challenges across several sectors.

In recent years he has focused on helping large organizations improving their strategic portfolio management processes. Whilst during the pandemic years he was an integral part of the City of Oslo’s scaled agile pandemic response organization, ensuring transparency, flow and execution.

Another area of interest has been the operationalization of the sustainability agenda through an end-to-end/circular approach to supply chains, identifying and extracting synergies between efficiency, savings and sustainability
