Joaquim Duarte Oliveira

Joaquim Oliveira is leader of the Supply Chain & Network Operations practice at Deloitte Portugal. He has more than 18 years of experience in Consulting, where he has worked with clients from various sectors (automotive, retail, consumer goods, industry, among others) in multiple geographies, particularly in Europe (Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia) and Africa (Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde).

His main focus areas include Supply Chain Planning (demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, S&OE, IBP), Sourcing & Procurement (spend analysis, strategic sourcing, operating model design), Smart Factory (IoT, performance monitoring) and strategic and business planning.

In addition, Joaquim has worked on multiple digital transformation programs with partner ecosystems, namely OMP, Anaplan, Mendix/Outsystems and AERA.

In parallel to his work with clients, he has published several studies related to E-commerce and Last Mile Operations, as well as on the digitalization of the automotive sector in Europe.
