Miguel Morais

Miguel is partner at Deloitte Portugal leading the Risk Advisory function in the Financial Services industry. With more than twenty years of experience in the financial sector, he has developed his skills starting in the provision of audit services and, since 2005, performing consulting services.

He is specialized in advising financial institutions on risk management matters and in the development of internal control systems. He also has led several projects in the areas of Strategic Risk, Financial Risk, Regulatory Risk and Operational Risk. Most of these projects were characterized by a high degree of transformation of the business and customer operations and also by the multidisciplinarity resulting from the integration of financial, analytical, regulatory and technological competencies.
