How the spread of the Covid-19 will affect the economy and business environment?

How the spread of the Covid-19 will affect the economy and business environment?

The Deloitte CFO Survey is an annual barometer of how financial directors from across Central Europe view the current and future economic situation.

Our last survey was completed in Q4 2019, since when the disruption caused by the Covid-19 outbreak has caused significant changes and heightened uncertainty. The goal for this special edition of the survey is to capture the shifts in CFOs’ opinions on topics including risk, GDP growth, financing priorities and the most recent issues facing business - in this difficult time when we and our businesses are faced with unprecedented challenges.

Effects of Covid-19 will continue to be felt long after the pandemic itself is over. The impact is likely to include disruptions and delays in many traditional value chains, causing supply shortages, short-term decline of productivity, reduced investment and decreased household demand. While fiscal and monetary policy measure will seek to alleviate the impact on the demand side of the economy, it is impossible, at least on short term, to escape the impact of supply-side shock. That is why we believe your feedback and responses will be of special value and importance.

It will only take 10 minutes and is completely confidential. No company or individual is named – only aggregated results are published. Participants in the survey will receive an analysis and interpretation of the results.
