Equal opportunities in professional development: discussing the past, present and future.

Where were we a decade ago in terms of gender parity, equal pay or career advancement of women, and where are we now? What are the obstacles women need to overcome in the Romanian business environment in order to thrive and grow?

On March 25, 2021, between 16:30 and 18:00, we will debate together with our guests these topics during an online event that will take place under the Deloitte SheXO Club umbrella. The club brings together business women, nurturing a community which will allow for networking and experience sharing. Among our event speakers, we have:

During the event, we will launch the second Deloitte SheXO report, which looks into the factors creating disparity between the number of men and women in the business world and offers the proper context for the panel discussions.

As tribute to the contribution of women in various communities, businesses, domains, or even countries, we have a duty to take a look on the battles women have won, but also to analyze the fights that they are still fighting. Perhaps not incidentally, this year's global theme of International Women's Day is #ChooseToChallenge - ourselves, beliefs, ideas, bias, or numbers.
