ECB supervisory priorities for 2023 - 2025

On 12th of December, the European Central Bank (ECB) published its SSM supervisory priorities for next period of 2023 – 2025. Bearing in mind the macro-financial consequences that have increased uncertainties about the evolution of the economy and financial markets and elevated risks in the banking sector, the ECB calls for extreme prudence on the part of banks and banking supervisors.

For 2023 – 2025, the ECB will concentrate on strengthening the resilience to immediate macro-financial and geopolitical shock, addressing the digitalization challenges, and strengthening management bodies’ steering capabilities and increase the efforts in addressing climate change.
