Public Consultation to revise EBA Guidelines on internal governance & EBA and ESMA Guidelines for assessing the suitability of members of the management body and key function holders

Recently, EBA has launched a public consultation to revise its Guidelines on Internal Governance, taking into account the amendments introduced by the CRD V and the Investment Firms Directive (IFD) in relation to credit institutions’ sound and effective governance arrangements.

Both EBA and ESMA also launched a public consultation on its revised joint Guidelines on the assessment of the suitability of members of the management body and key function holders. This review reflects the amendments introduced by the CRD V and the IFD in relation to the assessment of the suitability of members of the management body.
