Deloitte Applied Ethical Hacking Bootcamp

4-day training session

Deloitte Applied Ethical Hacking Bootcamp is a four day on-site course designed for „security professionals/companies” who want to take a step into the world of cyber security. This crash course introduces participants into the methodology and tools of penetration testing through practical, applicable course content and hands-on exercises. During the first three days we will be simulating a full penetration test from start to finish. The fourth day of the course is an actual Capture-The-Flag competition, all participants competing in solving complex cyber challenges based on previous acquired skills.

Course Objectives

We will:

  • Provide comprehensive technical knowledge along with the methodologies needed to perform high-quality penetration tests.
  • Enter deep into the arsenal of tools with many practical exercises that show subtle, less well-known techniques that are used by professionals in the security field.
  • Discuss how tools integrate with each other in the usual penetration test workflow. We analyze how we can chain together multiple tools in order to get the best and quickest result.
  • Address common pitfalls in penetration tests and present simple and yet effective time-saving techniques in order to maximize the quality and delivery time of the results.
  • Analyze various scanning tools and techniques in order to get accurate data about the targeted infrastructure the goal being to create a detailed map of operating systems, ports opened and services running
  • Use the command line of the Linux and Windows operating systems in order to extract additional information used to eliminate false positives, to create persistence in the network and create pivots for lateral movement.
  • Configure and use the Metasploit framework, scan, exploit and pivot through the network.
  • Use well known tools to conduct password attacks against applications login screens, password hashes, brute force usernames and discover hidden web pages and directories.
