Clive Dodimead

Clive leads the GES EMEA regional delivery model. This encompasses teams in delivery Centres in Bucharest and Hyderabad and working with EMEA member firms to re-engineer how we deliver our services.

Prior to this role, Clive worked in the UK GES practice for 21 years. For most of this period he was working on client accounts advising on tax issues related to the global mobility of employees. He was also involved in re-engineering the delivery of GES services in the UK and set up a delivery Centre in Cardiff prior to becoming involved in the EMEA delivery model. Clive played a key role in setting up the Tax & Legal Delivery Centre in Bucharest and restructuring the teams supporting EMEA GES in USI.

 

Jan Verhoeven

Director

After joining the Belgian practice in 1999, Jan participated in the set-up and development of the Belgian Tax Compliance Centre. With a 22 years of experience in our Global Employer Services practice, he was heavily involved in setting -up, on-site management of delivery teams for the Dutch, German and Belgian GES practices.

In January 2017, he moved to Bucharest to set up and lead the GES EMEA Delivery Centre, which is managing GMO, tax and immigration services for 14 EMEA member firms. Currently, he leads the GES centre in Bucharest as well as the operations of the overall Tax & Legal delivery centre.

Simina Mut

Simina is an attorney at law, she leads the Deloitte Legal’s Global Centre of Excellence and Deloitte Legal’s Management Consulting practice in Central Europe.

She has 10+ years of experience as a transactional banking lawyer and over 4 years in central roles at Deloitte Legal, in EMEA and globally. She has a track record of driving the implementation of innovative projects for Deloitte Legal globally, in the areas of operational excellence, centralized delivery, knowledge sharing and legal technology.

She also advises clients’ legal departments on operating models design, legal digital strategy and operational excellence.
Simina studied international and comparative law in Cluj-Napoca, Paris and Geneva and holds comparative law and translational law certifications.

Ruxandra Moraru

Ruxandra Moraru is the team leader of the Bucharest office of Deloitte Global Tax Center Europe (“GTCE”). She has started her career in early 2007, during her 2nd year of university, in Customer Service. Her early work experience was defined by genuine commitment while seizing each opportunity given, and taking challenges as the best accelerator to achieve thorough paced personal growth. She continued her career as a trainer and then made the switch to the consulting department of the core tax business of Deloitte Romania, which easily became her professional pillar.
What would best define her career plan was her focus on becoming the master of her own work and being part of a healthy environment that would nurture her curiosity, creativity, and appetite for finding the right personalised means to support people’s development.

Mercedes Nespral Dias

GTA Manager

Mercedes moved from Buenos Aires to Bucharest in August 2020 to start the Global Trade Advisory (GTA) practice in Romania. She is a Tax Manager and has previously coordinated and developed teams in Argentina, Philippines and India.
She has a background in International Studies and 7 years of consulting experience serving multinational clients from different industries, mainly focused on Technology and Consumer Goods.

Mercedes manages the Global Delivery Centres (GDC) in Romania and India, and is responsible for global GDC alignment, quality, training, and resource management covering a wide range of activities including multi-jurisdiction import tariff and export classification, specialized subject (e.g., OGA) technical advisory, and FTA solicitation.
