Alin Chitu

Alin Chitu, Tax Partner, Deloitte Romania, started his career in Deloitte Romania, in 2005, as a tax consultant. His career path included various roles over the years, such as local expert with the World Bank and state secretary with the Ministry of Finance, where he contributed to reshaping the tax legislative framework, was involved in projects with the EU Commission and in Romania’s negotiation process for becoming a member of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Alin holds a bachelor’s degree in finance insurance, banks and stock exchange, and a master’s degree in European public governance.
