Alina Alecu

Alina is a Senior Consultant in the Circular Economy practice at Deloitte Romania focusing on environmental tax and circular economy consulting. She graduated from the Faculty of Geography - Environmental Science and has a Master in Integrated Environmental Assessment.

Alina has experience in extended producer responsibility, being part of projects that reviews producers' compliance with legal obligations, due diligence on environmental tax, operational audits conducted at organizations implementing extended producer responsibility in the field of packaging and electrical and electronic equipment, as well as part of a project that analysed the collection and recycling of packaging waste in Romania.

She holds certifications as a Circular Economy Specialist and Waste Management Specialist.

In addition to extensive producer responsibility experience gained on numerous projects, she has also developed sustainability reports based on completion of the GRI course.
