Ioana Șerban-David

Ioana is a Manager within the Indirect Tax team and has 4 years of experience in the area of VAT, starting her career within the VAT compliance department of Deloitte Romania. Her main focus is on the high quality of VAT reporting for clients from different industries, both local and non-residents active on the Romanian market, as well as on ways to automate the VAT compliance process. Thus, Ioana was involved in the development and update of the D.Tax and VAT.InstantScan applications, apps used for the preparation of the VAT returns and respectively bulk verifications of VAT IDs in the public registries.

Ioana was also involved in different projects ranging from tax advisory projects, VAT registrations, de-registrations, VAT compliance to assistance during VAT audits.

Ioana graduated the Faculty of Finance, Assurance, Banking and Stock exchange from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest and holds a masters degree in Taxation from the same university.
