Lorena Roșia

Lorena is a fully qualified lawyer with an experience of over 6 years in the financial services industry.

Lorena has focused in the last period in transformation projects in the legal department and has advised general counsels on the adoption of technology and the management of the legal department.

Her background as lawyer serves her to deliver tailored and practical advise in the adoption of legal technology. She is familiar with legal technology solutions and the implementation roadmap and speaks both the language of lawyers and IT teams.

In addition to her management consulting hat, Lorena is specialized in banking and finance law, with a focus on digitalisation in the financial services industry, payment services, international financing transactions and M&A in the financial industry.

Lorena has advised credit institutions on various complex projects such as the take over of the performing business of an entire bank in a context of international winding down, M&A in the banking industry, corporate restructurings through mergers and business transfers.

She is experienced in assisting borrowers in large financing transactions, her most recent project being a real-estate finance transaction for the acquisition of a shopping mall in Romania, having assisted the borrower in this transaction.

In her efforts to contribute to the digitalization of the Romanian financial services industry, Lorena has assisted start-ups and fintech companies in entering the Romanian market and has advised leading banks on innovation and digital transaformation projects.

Qualifications and education:

• Bachelor’s degree in law from Babes Bolyai University in 2013. Lorena graduated Magna Cum Laude.
• Member of Bucharest Bar since 2013.
• LLM in Business Law from Bucharest University .
