Record growth of technology companies in the history of the ranking

The 2022 Deloitte CE Technology Fast 50 broke records reaching incredible growth:

  • The average four-year growth of Central Europe’s Fast 50 technology companies is 2351%
  • Winner takes the ranking for the second time with 25255% growth between 2018 and 2021
  • Google Cloud as an official Regional Technology Partner is putting in the spotlight technological companies, through a special CE Tech Rocketship! category
  • The main Fast 50 category includes companies from nine CE countries and six industry sectors
  • Czech FTMO wins the main Fast 50 category for a second year in a row
  • Companies to Watch category winner achieves incredible growth of 100 314%!

 

With 400 applications from 16 countries, the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Central Europe ranking recognizes the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the region based on percentage revenue growth. 2022 marks the 23rd year of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 ranking in CE. This time, the Programme recognizes fast-growing technology companies in the following categories:

  • Companies to Watch
  • Impact Stars
  • CE Tech Rocketship!

The uncertain market and geopolitical situation, the skyrocketing inflation clearly show that the development of technology is a strong ground and driving force for business in our region.

Poland leads the Fast 50 ranking with 17 companies in main category, followed by the Czech Republic (13) and Croatia (8). In the main Fast50 ranking category, there are also representation from Slovakia (4), Hungary (3), Bulgaria (2) and one winner each from Lithuania, Romania and Serbia.

The ranking is dominated by companies from the software industry (33), and further industries are Fintech (6), Hardware (5), Media & entertainment (4), Healthcare & Life sciences (2). In the top 10 of the main category, we have 4 companies representing Fintech, 4 – Software, 1 – Healthcare & Life Sciences, 1 – Hardware.

As part of the Technology Fast 50 Central Europe Programme, a special category – Impact Stars award was introduced in 2020.
