This year, we launched IMPACT Day, a new social campaign for Deloitte Moscow: on 5 October, together with our clients, we devoted an entire day to volunteer work.
IMPACT Day is an initiative aimed at helping society through pro bono, knowledge sharing, and traditional volunteering activities. It provides an opportunity for Deloitte professionals to put their passion, determination and skills to use for the benefit of their communities.
Aligned with Deloitte’s global corporate responsibility strategy, IMPACT Day is an opportunity to participate in a wide variety of projects, ranging from skill-based activities to traditional volunteering and pro bono work.
It took place during one full working day, which the firm’s staff spent on pro bono work and volunteering. This year it only took place in Moscow; however, there are plans to expand this initiative to the rest of Russia and other CIS countries in the future.
For our IMPACT Day 2018 we had put together more than 50 activities that our employees could take part in to make an impact that matters to our society and change the world for the better.
IMPACT Day activities
Our activities covered a wide range of interests and included the following:
Auditing a charity fund, providing legal services for an NGO, translating texts, and many other services provided on a free-of-charge basis to help make your community better.
You can facilitate training sessions including Financial Literacy for People 50+, Moments That Matter for NGOs, or project management.
Activities such as planting trees at a hospice, painting walls in classrooms, or becoming a volunteer at an animal shelter.
You can take part in Borderless Possibilities the business quest for better understanding the struggles that people with disabilities face in everyday life.
