The Swedish steel powder manufacturing unit was part of the first implementation wave go-live.
The client had exponentially increased complexity of business processes and systems architecture as a result of growth and acquisitions. This meant, over 20 decentralized legacy systems, duplications and highly customized application footprints. Many business processes were inefficient and non-standard across the enterprise. The client, operating globally, sought to unify as a global company with common work processes and standardized data. They initiated a business transformation enabled by S/4HANA implementation with Deloitte as their partner.

This enhanced operational effectiveness by improved logistics, optimized inventory and global quality controls and standardized policies.
