Deloitte Singapore leads Big Four as most attractive employer of choice

The professional services firm also bagged four wins at the Asia Recruitment Awards 2016

SINGAPORE, 21 April 2016 – Deloitte Singapore was awarded the most attractive employer within the professional services sector in Singapore at the recent prestigious Randstad Award 2016, and clinched top spots at this year’s Asia Recruitment Awards 2016.

Philip Yuen, Deloitte Singapore’s Chief Executive Officer said “We are very pleased to be acknowledged as ‘the people’s choice’ in these two prestigious awards. It is a testament of our efforts and reaffirms our commitment to providing an environment where our people are able to excel and achieve their full potential. It also reflects the breadth and depth of our talent programmes, and the development and leadership opportunities available across all levels including experienced hires.”

“We are proud that we are able to deliver a distinctive experience for the most sought after talent, both fresh graduates and mid-career professionals alike and we will continue to ensure that we cultivate a high performance and innovative culture within our organisation,” added Mr Yuen.

In the Randstad Award 2016, Deloitte Singapore was named one of the top 20 most attractive companies in Singapore, and the most attractive employer within the professional services sector, leading all other Big Four firms in the market.

This result was based on the outcome of the world’s largest survey in employer branding. Unlike other surveys, the study by Randstad is designed to uncover how the 75 largest commercial employers are perceived by jobseekers aged 18 to 65. This award is in its 16th edition globally and 5th edition in Singapore.

Similarly at the Asia Recruitment Awards 2016, Deloitte beat leading companies and organisations in Asia, to take home four awards. Winners of the Asia Recruitment Awards 2016 set the benchmark for the HR industry and are recognised as the top performers across Asia.

  • Best Diversity & Inclusion Strategy – Gold
  • Best Recruitment Innovation by a Corporate HR Team – Gold
  • Best Career Website for a Corporate HR Team – Silver
  • Best Graduate Recruitment Programme – Silver

The Asia Recruitment Awards are judged solely by an esteemed jury of senior HR leaders from around Asia, making it the only HR awards in Asia created for HR professionals by HR professionals.

Seah Gek Choo, Deloitte Singapore’s Talent Partner believes it is important for organisations to continuously invest in their people offering them access to the opportunities to do their best work and succeed. “The awards has given us a good reason to celebrate. It has also served as a motivation for us to continue to inspire our people to deliver outstanding work by providing an exceptional career experience in an inclusive and collaborative culture” said Ms Seah.
