"Turkey in e-Commerce, 2018 Market Size" study conducted by Information Industry Association (TUBISAD), with the project consultancy of Deloitte Turkey; and with the project data partnerships of Similar Web, inveon and Electronic Commerce Operators Association (ETID).
Considering the outstanding trends of the report, basket prices increased more than the previous years due to the increase in inflation and exchange rates in consumer products. In line with the decrease in demand for durable consumer goods, the electronic category showed a lower performance compared to the past. While the total retail sector in Turkey exhibiting low growth performance last year, the share of e-commerce due to the rapid growth of e-commerce channel in the sector rose quickly and reached the level of 5.3%.
