Thomas Chen, Partner of Tax & Legal,  joined Deloitte Taiwan in 1996 and acts partner since 2008.  Thomas Chen has more than 25 years of experiences in tax advisory and tax controversy, focusing on M&A tax planning, and dealing with many cases of tax controversy. 

Thomas Chen’s experience spans multiple industries including financial services, consumer business, as well as life sciences and health care.  Thomas Chen’s main services include tax advisory services in relation to merger and acquisition, investment consultation and inbound tax issues consultation, tax compliance, and tax controversy. Thomas Chen is very experienced in helping clients through each stage of tax controversy, including re-examination application, tax appeal with the Ministry of Finance, filing tax law suits with related courts, and even filing petitions for the interpretation of the Constitution.
