Export promotion of national food and light industry producers to European markets

Seminar for representatives of business sector

Dnipro, 30 January 2017, 15:00-17:00

As part of the systematic efforts of the Council of Exporters and Investors at the MFA of Ukraine to assist Ukrainian exporters in entering foreign markets, the city of Dnipro will host a presentation of the Ukraine-EU Business Alliance project aimed to help national producers in food industry and light industry discover more export opportunities and promote the presentation of their products on the shelves of European supermarkets.

This project is being implemented through a state and private partnership between the MFA of Ukraine, Deloitte and Willard Group and the Western NIS Enterprise Fund.

It is to be recalled that Vienna Trade Fair was successfully held within this project in May 2016 in Vienna, Austria. Austrian business was represented by the largest retail networks, such as Billa, Spar and Metro. Considering the success of the event and the demand of national companies, it was decided to expand the project to other EU countries.

Thus, the plan schedules a number of exhibitions to be held in Belgium on 7-8 February, in France on 15-16 March, in Austria on 29-30 March (for the second time and in the extended format), in the Netherlands on 19-20 May, in Belgium on 17-18 May (for the second time and in the extended format), in Great Britain, Poland and Germany.

The Ukraine-EU Business Alliance project brings together leading experts, both national and foreign, with hands-on experience in efficient launching of companies into EU markets. At the presentation, the participants will receive exhaustive information about the project, its main approaches and implementation methods, roles of partners, selection criteria for participating companies, preliminary preparation needed, export hub and issues related to its organization and funding.

The event will take place on 30 January from 15:00 to 17:00 at Spalah Education Hub located at: 5 Dmytro Yavornytsky Street (Floor 6), Dnipro. Participation is free of charge.
