Changes in the list of services permitted for importation

The import of all commercial products has been actually allowed effective 09 July 2022. However, restrictions still apply to the payment for a number of services, work, intellectual property rights, and other non-property rights specified in the Annex to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 24 February 2022, No. 153 (hereinafter, the "List of Services").

The latest changes in the List of Services became effective on 23 July 2022.

Updated List of Services

The CMU’s Resolution No.814 dated 22 July 2022 introduced the following changes in the List of Services.

Restrictions have been lifted on the purchase of currency and cross-border wire transfers for the purpose of importation of:

• outstaffing services provided by non-resident companies to Ukrainian residents;
• day-to-day management services;
• drilling equipment repair services, telemetry system repair services;
• electronic individual registration form hosting services;
• payment for the use of MB5 metal containers, etc.

The following items have been removed from the List of Services, i.e. actually prohibited:

• settlements under motor vehicle lease agreements;
• car leasing;
• advertising activities;
• settlements under license agreements, including royalties.
