Deloitte’s team have significant experience in indirect tax advisory to both Ukrainian and international companies. With the introduction of VAT taxation of electronic services provided by non-resident entities to Ukrainian individuals starting from 1 January 2022, our specialists are ready to assist you with the registration as a VAT payer in Ukraine for the purposes of electronic services supplies, submission of VAT reporting, and any supporting consulting services which may be required.
Volodymyr Yumashev
Partner, Tax & Legal, TMT Leader
Volodymyr Yumashev has been with Deloitte since 2003. His is the reputable expert in structuring of investment in various industries as well as working with TMT-sector (the companies from Telecom, Media and Technology area); Volodymyr was engaged into more than a hundred or relevant projects.
For 2013 through 2016, he led Deloitte team to providing services in the area of M&A in the CIS, as well as services for the TMT sector companies in tax and legal. From 2016 Volodymyr leads the team for providing consulting services to TMT-sector clients in Ukraine. Since 2017 Volodymyr is a member of Deloitte Ukraine Executive committee member as Head of Strategy for Deloitte.
Volodymyr is also responsible for the Business Processes and Solutions (BPS) practice in Deloitte Ukraine, the service line that engaged in the development and automation of business processes in the field of financial and tax accounting, the creation of shared service centers (SSCs) in Ukraine, as well as provision of advisory services in the field of financial and tax accounting.
He has been a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, Great Britain) since 2011. Volodymyr graduated from Kyiv National Economics University and was awarded a degree of Master in Financial Management.
Vasyl Drobot
Senior Manager, Tax & Legal, ESS Advisory
Vasyl has over 11 years of experience in tax advisory and M&A projects and specializes in providing professional services to companies across multiple industries and sectors. He is leading the provision of advisory and compliance services on ESS taxation.
Vasyl has a serious expertise in indirect tax consulting and joined ESS team to provide a full range of advisory services related to ESS taxation, including consulting on VAT treatment, VAT exemption of certain ESS supplies, peculiarities of ESS VAT compliance and reporting, registration of non-resident as VAT payer in Ukraine, etc.
Yuliia Khablo
Manager, Tax & Legal, ESS Advisory
Yuliia joined Deloitte Ukraine in 2017 and has got extensive experience in providing professional services to local and international clients with Deloitte. She specializes in tax due diligence and tax structuring engagements, as well as consulting projects covering a variety of Ukrainian and international tax issues.
Yuliia is engaged in provision of tax consulting services related to ESS taxation, including general advisory on the attribution of services to electronically supplied, differentiation between ESS B2B and B2C supplies, peculiarities of VAT accrual and invoicing, drafting tax rulings, and other related advisory services.
Ksenia Supruniuk
Manager, Tax & Legal, ESS VAT Compliance
Ksenia joined the firm in 2010. She specializes in accounting as well as financial, tax, and corporate reporting for representative offices of international companies and Ukrainian companies with foreign investments.
Ksenia has participated in a number of engagements on preparation and review of VAT returns as well as ensuring support in the course of VAT and complex tax audits by regulatory bodies and advising international and Ukrainian companies on accounting and taxation issues. Upon introduction of VAT taxation of ESS, Ksenia leads the provision of VAT reporting services to multinational clients in Ukraine.
