Deloitte Military Transition & Talent Programme

10 key achievements to mark 10 years of Deloitte’s Military Transition & Talent Programme

Over 3000 service leavers have attended our Military Insight Days since we started in 2012.
We have an active military community of 250 people made up of veterans, reservists, families of veterans and serving personnel, and supporters.
We have recruited people, from all services, at all ranks from Able Rate to Air Vice Marshall. You will find them in all Deloitte Businesses: Audit & Assurance, Consulting, Enabling Functions, Financial Advisory, Risk Advisory, Tax & Legal.
We have been part of more than 6200 veterans’ transition journeys. Some of those have joined Deloitte whilst others have gone onto work for other organisations, including our clients.
We have provided 14,000 hours over the last five years to support 40 active reservists attend training.
We collaborated with Forces in Mind Trust and Forces Employment Charity (formerly the Officers’ Association) to produce the Veterans Work thought leadership series, and have had over 23,000 views of the Veterans Work films. Watch them here.
Veterans Work: The Debate reached 8,000+ people on Facebook live. Watch the highlights here.
Veterans Work: The Podcast ranked in top 5 of Apple Business podcast listing. Listen here.
Actively supported ten military businesses and charities scale up and flourish through formal development programmes, pro bono support and mentoring.
We have collaborated extensively with other businesses to support veteran transition. These include: HSBC, Barclays, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Ministry of Defence, Amazon, Google, The Open University, Burberry, RE:ACT, Fieri and more.

What is Veterans Work?

Veterans Work is a series of original thought leadership pieces led by Deloitte and supported by The Forces in Mind Trust and the Forces Employment Charity (formerly the Officers’ Association). It shines a light on the compelling business case for UK plc to employ veterans. The series has used data, analysis, storytelling via films, debate and podcasts to move the veteran narrative forward and provide advice to service leavers and employers.
