Over the last few years, governments in the Middle East region have rapidly introduced a number of tax reforms including Transfer Pricing (TP) and Value Added Tax (VAT) measures. While all stakeholders, including tax advisors, tax administrations, and taxpayers, digest and adapt to these changes, there is another crucial change to be aware of: The Electronic Invoicing (e-Invoicing) system.
Questions to consider: Is the e-Invoicing phenomenon we are currently witnessing a pure VAT related issue or are there important TP considerations that need to be addressed? Is there an impact on the transparency caused by e Invoicing?
In light of the above, Deloitte will be hosting a 60-minute webinar on Wednesday, 22 September 2021 where our VAT and TP experts will discuss the impact of e-Invoicing on TP related matters, as well as some of the key points to be aware of while preparing for e-Invoicing. The conversation will focus on the following areas:
- An overview of VAT, TP and e-Invoicing in the Middle East with a focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA);
- The Interplay between VAT and TP;
- The Interplay between e-Invoicing and TP; and
- TP considerations while implementing an e-Invoicing system.
This webinar will enable you to benefit from the regional updates provided by our experts, as well as provide you with an opportunity to ask and engage during the Q&A session.
