Pádraig Cronin

Vice Chair, Tax Partner and NSE Family Enterprise Leader

Pádraig is a Vice Chair and Tax partner with Deloitte for over 20 years and previously served on the firms executive and board in various capacities including as Head of Tax Services (8 years) and Clients and Markets leader (6 years). He is currently the Family Enterprise Leader for NSE and is a member of the Global Family Enterprise Executive. He specialises in advising listed groups, high growth Irish companies and private equity houses on mergers and acquisitions, real estate tax and general corporate tax matters. He has evolved his role on clients to becoming a trusted business advisor on a range of family and business issues. He is an expert in the areas of business model optimisation, group reorganisations/joint ventures and property related incentives. Pádraig also advises a number of Private clients with holdings across multiple geographies on optimum ownership and operating models.

Education / other:

Pádraig is a first class honours law Graduate of National University of Ireland (1st place in year of graduation), is a member of the Irish Taxation Institute (1st place in final admittance exam) and is a Chartered Accountant. He has been consistently named in the list of top tax advisors in Ireland in the International Tax Review Survey. Pádraig has written various articles for the Irish Taxation Review and the International Tax Review.
