What does inclusion mean to you?

Inclusion is the feeling that people are being listened to and valued regardless of their gender, race, disability, mental or physical health. To be inclusive, we need to ensure that people feel valued and accepted in their teams and in the wider organisation without having to conform, they should be free to unleash their strengths in the workplace.

How is Deloitte helping you build your career?

Deloitte is helping me to build my career around my strengths and needs, that's how my uniqueness can bring authentic and transparent value to the firm and the clients.

Inclusion is the feeling that people are being listened to and valued regardless of their gender, race, disability, mental or physical health.

What challenges did you experience, if any, in your career and how did you overcome them?

One of the first challenges I experienced was the English language. I find myself in meetings where it's difficult to speak up when it's in a language that's not my native language. You can end up feeling frustrated because you know that in your primary language you wouldn't have this problem.

What could others learn from your journey?

Speak up for yourself and others.

Express your ideas in a valuable manner.

Develop your strengths.

What's one piece of advice you would give to a young female starting off their career?

You have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else, go for it!

What's one piece of advice you would give to someone relocating their life and career to Ireland?

Challenge yourself and look for mentors.
