Steven Bex leads Deloitte’s Managed Analytics offering in Deloitte Belgium. He is passionate about delivering user-centric, flexible, impactful business results—enabled by trustworthy, simple-to-consume AI solutions and services—to clients across industries.
Steven brings 25+ years of deep technology and domain expertise to his clients and teams. He values fostering long-term relationships and collaborating closely with clients to expand and drive the impact AI can bring to their day-to-day work. Over his six-year tenure at Deloitte, Steven has focused on expanding the value of the Deloitte Analytics Platform into a full Managed Analytics offering. Steven is a recognized thought leader, contributing to Deloitte’s 2021 Tech Trends “ML Ops: Industrialized AI” report and serving as an IBM Champion for his leadership in developing joint offerings and evangelizing the use of IBM’s Data & AI technologies, such as DAPPER.
Steven began his career in expert systems in the process industry. Continuing his journey through academic research in neural networks, he shifted his attention to the broader AI ecosystem—focused on data and analytics. His interests lie in shifting away from ad-hoc analyses towards platforms, subscription-based services, solution- and product-building and change management. Steven possesses several degrees, including a Master of Industrial Engineering and a Master of Artificial Intelligence.
