Sustainability
At Deloitte Belgium, we support Deloitte’s global WorldClimate strategy. By 2030, we are committed to making an impact through sustainability and working toward a greener future while providing support to our clients as they seek to do the same. The first phase in mobilising Deloitte Belgium's vision focuses on two defined areas: reducing CO2 emissions (offsetting the rest) and becoming a greener organisation.
We all want to do better for the planet. But where do you start? For us, we looked in the mirror and identified four main areas that we could improve upon: mobility, travel, infrastructure, and greening up our firm.
Deloitte Foundation
One way that Deloitte Belgium fulfils its Purpose is through the Deloitte Foundation, the cornerstone of our commitment to society. The Deloitte Foundation brings together a range of social projects in Belgium and abroad, for which we collaborate with strategic partners. The projects focus on education, inclusion, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. These areas represent Deloitte's culture as a coaching and learning organisation, and make the best use of our skills in order to have a greater impact, and work for a better and more sustainable society.

Working toward gender equality
We have a strong commitment to diversity, and we have set ambitious targets for gender equality. Our goal is to achieve a fair representation throughout Deloitte Belgium, and among others increasing the number of women in our business units and national governance bodies. To achieve this, we developed the firmwide Gender Diversity initiative which aims to pinpoint the issues, set change targets, and develop measures to improve the current gender balance in our leadership. We are working toward a more gender-diverse partnership with the aim to increase our female partner representation to 30% by 2030.
