Berrefonds provides support to the parents and families of children who pass away during pregnancy, birth or before they reach the age of 12. The Berrefonds offers tailor-made suitcases, a ‘Koesterkoffer’ or ‘cherish case’, support groups and aftercare support services to parents, brothers and sisters who are confronted with the loss of a child. The suitcase contains a number of items that the parents can use to capture memories of their child, as well as carefully chosen items aimed at supporting the entire family in the weeks, months and years after the loss.

Fund Isaan is a non-profit organisation under the supervision of the King Baudouin Foundation.
Founded in 2008 by Rony Wuytjens, retired Deloitte partner, Fund Isaan aims to improve the level of education and provide access to higher education for the underprivileged in South East Asia, thereby improving the livelihood and opportunities for students and by extension their families and communities. To that purpose the Fund puts volunteers at the disposal of local schools. Furthermore the fund raises scholarships for thoroughly selected and screened children and invests in IT solutions.

Join2Bike is a bicycle project that aims to get people with and without disabilities to cycle together, which was founded by Luc Gielen, a nurse at the UZ-Pelllenberg rehabilitation centre. Every year a major sports challenge is organised with weekly group training sessions so the participants can work together toward their goal. With your support, Join2bike can purchase adapted bicycles, making it possible for people living with paralysis or even those who have locked-in syndrome to conquer a climb.

The Maggie programme gives forcibly displaced people access to health, education and self-reliance. It provides highly-insulated and adaptable shelters for schools, community centres, medical care, and temperature controlled warehousing for regions exposed to harsh climates. The Maggie goes to Mombasa project in Kenya will provide a polyvalent Maggie space to support young adults from local disadvantaged neighbourhoods to become social entrepreneurs: a learning and maker space for starters to grab and develop opportunities in their professional life.
