Deloitte acquires iNostix

Leading expert for predictive HR analytics

Brussels, 18 March 2016 – Deloitte today announced the acquisition of iNostix, the leading expert for predictive HR analytics. This acquisition will help Deloitte to further cement its role as the leader in the field of Human Capital. The iNostix team delivers a range of services in HR analytics and will now operate under the name ‘iNostix by Deloitte’.

Koen Vandaele, Managing Partner Consulting at Deloitte: “We aspire to be the undisputed market leader in helping our clients to transform their businesses in an increasingly digital world. As this requires deep expertise in human capital and analytics, the integration of iNostix gives us the opportunity to expand our capabilities in the domain of predictive analytics - and more specifically in the field of HR analytics. This ensures that we are even better positioned to help our clients navigate the organisational and people-related challenges which they will inevitably encounter during their business transformation journey.”

As highlighted by Deloitte’s ‘Tomorrow is Today’ campaign, analytics has the revolutionary potential to transform businesses, power new business models, enable innovation and deliver greater value. By harnessing the power of HR analytics, organisations can transform their business.

Founded in 2008 by Luk Smeyers and Dr. Jeroen Delmotte, iNostix leverages the power of predictive HR analytics and offers a unique blend of HR know-how, scientific rigour and data science expertise. Since its inception, iNostix has grown to become a well-known thought leader and is the number one predictive HR analytics & HR research advisor within the Benelux. With activities also spanning beyond the Benelux and a fast-growing group of loyal social followers around the world, the acquisition of iNostix represents an excellent strategic fit, reinforcing Deloitte’s leading market position in Human Capital.

Luk Smeyers, CEO and Co-Founder iNostix: “I am very excited about the merging of our resources. Integrating our expertise within both Deloitte’s Human Capital services and the next-generation Business Analytics practice will be a powerful combination to address complex people-related challenges.” Jeroen Delmotte, Ph.D., Chief Scientist and Co-Founder iNostix, adds: “Partnering with our customers has always been vital to providing the highest levels of insight and through our integration in Deloitte, we will be uniquely positioned to respond to our clients’ analytical needs.”

“The acquisition of iNostix is an important step in the growth of our Human Capital offering,” confirms Yves Van Durme, Human Capital Lead at Deloitte. “Deloitte’s ‘Global Human Capital Trends 2015’ report highlighted that data and analytics are key to solving many problems such as engagement, leadership, learning and recruitment. This year’s edition of the report shows that 32% of respondents are ready to apply people analytics (up by 30%) and more than 75% consider this trend as (very) important. Momentum is growing and this integration will enable us to better serve our clients and reach our goal of becoming number one in human capital analytics.”
