Deloitte continues to strengthen its Audit & Risk Advisory practice and Basel team

Deloitte in Switzerland has welcomed a new Partner to its Audit & Risk Advisory practice, underlining the firm’s ambitions to further develop its audit services. Patrick Fawer has joined Deloitte’s office in Basel, a testament to the firm’s strong footprint in the Basel region.
Patrick Fawer joined Deloitte on 1 October 2015 as Partner in the firm’s Audit & Risk Advisory practice. Patrick has more than 19 years’ experience providing audit and advisory services to Swiss multinational companies primarily in the chemical and consumer business industries. Before joining Deloitte, Patrick held various senior audit positions at EY and Arthur Andersen in Basel. Patrick is a Swiss Certified Accountant and serves as President of the Swiss Audit, Tax and Fiduciary Association (EXPERTsuisse) for the Basel region.
Patrick will look to strengthen the firm’s Swiss Audit & Risk Advisory practice – in particular in the Basel region – by intensifying local market activities and further developing the Swiss audit brand quality. He will serve multinational companies as well as SMEs and family-owned corporations.
