Deloitte Green Pitch on FoodTech successfully concluded

 

In cooperation with WeWork Labs, Deloitte Green Pitch on FoodTech was successfully concluded in Shanghai on 20 September. Advanced insights as well as Deloitte innovation services in the broader food industry were shared at the event. In addition, related startups presented their latest technologies and best practices to over 50 executives from retail, food and related organizations including heads of innovation, transformation department and investors.

Deloitte China Innovation Department and Greenhouse Partner Steven Feng delivered welcome speech.

Innovation has now become the buzzwords across all industries. However, enterprises often find it difficult to get on the right track of innovation transformation. To help enterprises stay ahead of innovation with improved innovation capabilities, Deloitte is here to provide cutting-edge technologies and new insights through various events and service.

Supply chain has always been the cornerstone of the food and retail industry. In a digital era, what are the key focuses of enterprise supply chain? Deloitte China Consulting Senior Manager Samuel Jin shared his insights under the theme Smart Supply Chain - Trends and the Transformation Journey. He looked ahead into the development trends of smart supply chain, analysed the transformation journey towards digital supply chain, and shared case studies on how Deloitte enabled clients' smart supply chain strategy through in-depth expertise.

Meanwhile, leveraging fully integrated internal and external innovation resources, Deloitte proactively engaged in active interactions with global ecosystem partners to improve innovation capabilities. Deloitte Italy team also joined us to share more Deloitte global innovation services and achievements. The Accelerator focused on win-win collaboration between FoodTech startups and large enterprises to develop and promote innovative projects. Deloitte Green Pitch in Shanghai also intended to help recruit Chinese innovative technology companies for the Accelerator, serving as an open platform to connect with the global market for new opportunities and mutual wins.

Eight startups including Fingo Biotech Pty, Hanshow Technology, Hoiracle Biotechnology, SmartAHC, Polynovo Biotech, Wochacha, Efood and Coffee Exchange shared their innovative practices across the entire food industrial chain by displaying new technologies and insights. They also engaged in face-to-face communications with other attendees on hot topics.
