Deloitte receives Amcham's "Best Company for Women" award 

Deloitte Hong Kong is honored to receive the 2017 "Best Company for Women" award from the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (AmCham). This is the 14th year for AmCham to present the Women of Influence Awards, which aim to recognize outstanding women and advocates in Hong Kong. There are nine awards in the program, including one for the best company that advocates and supports female development and advancement.

Taking this opportunity, Deloitte would like to congratulate all fellow award winners as well as the 171 nominees for their significant achievements.

Over the years, Deloitte has lived by the principles of inclusiveness and diversity. Our firm sees female development and empowerment as not just a corporate responsibility, but more importantly, as a key pillar of our strength. In 1986, the firm appointed its first female partner when the accounting industry was still heavily male-dominated. Today, women colleagues account for 60% of the Deloitte Hong Kong workforce with over 30% being partners and managing directors.

Deloitte appreciates the recognition and encouragement and will continue the efforts in developing more innovative external mentoring exchanges program, "flextime" programs and launching family events such as Open Day, where colleagues are allowed to bring along their children to work.

In addition to the acknowledgement the award means to our firm, it is also a recognition of the dedication and achievement of our female colleagues. We salute our female colleagues for their contribution to Deloitte Hong Kong as well as the community.
