Deloitte Cyber Launches Cyber Cloud Centre of Excellence with AWS to enable Secure Cloud Transformation in Hong Kong

Deloitte Cyber has launched the Cyber Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE) to collaborate with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services. The Hong Kong based Cyber Cloud CoE will support businesses overcome security and compliance barriers and enable a rapid shift to cloud.

Deloitte Cyber and AWS are offering a suite of services that will offer accelerated enablement of cloud with security and simplicity at its core. This comes in response to the fact that three out of four companies in Hong Kong see security inhibiting their migration to Cloud¹. This hindrance has Hong Kong businesses lagging 14% behind other countries who already have 45% of their IT infrastructure on public cloud². To solve this, Deloitte Cyber Cloud CoE will simplify the integration of people, process and technology that underpins transformation and secure cloud adoption.

"Our Cyber Cloud Center of Excellence, powered by AWS will enable clients build secure and compliance AWS Secure Landing Zones as the first step to their Cloud journey. Using our global knowledge and enabling clients on AWS the Cyber Cloud CoE is being established to place design principles of automation, orchestration, privacy and data security front and center of cloud migrations.” said Puneet Kukreja, Deloitte Cyber Cloud Leader for Hong Kong.

The Cyber Cloud CoE will drive security automation and orchestration using SecDevOps and Zero Trust models and provide end-to-end secure cloud enablement services that include but are not limited to Cloud Security Strategy, Well-Architected Framework Assessments, Secure Landing Zone, Application Migration Advisory services and Cyber Cloud operating models.

"This will above all will create a demo ground for multiple AWS Cyber Cloud use cases across industry sectors with specialised focus on delivering security-focused solutions and services which is the need of the hour." added, Kukreja.

The Center will operate out of The Garage, Deloitte Cyber's Innovation Center, located at California Tower, Central. The Garage will run regular thought-leadership events, technical workshops and secure-by-design labs as part of its support efforts to the Hong Kong business community as it transitions to and accelerates its AWS cloud adoption.
