Deloitte Sponsors Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund Jumpstarter in HK

This year, Deloitte China is proud to have been the sole premier sponsor of Jumpstarter, organized by Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 23/24 January 2019.

More than 100 Deloitte China experts dedicated to empowering the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurship in Hong Kong attended the event. Our delegation was led by Southern Region Managing Partner Dennis Chow, who joined industry protagonists and VIP guests including Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Chief Secretary Matthew Cheung and Executive Council Convenor Bernard Chan, Alibaba Group Executive Vice Chairman Joe Tsai, and Lan Kwan Fong Group Chairman Allan Zeman.

Also at the event, our Markets & Global Network Partner Philip Law moderated a panel on how startups and entrepreneurs can build productive business partnerships. Central Business Development Director Fong Ho Wan was one of the judges of a startup demo and offered one-to-one consultations to six startup entrepreneurs.
