Introduction

There is a growing push for board diversity in Malaysia. Women representation on Malaysian boards have been progressively growing, comprising 28.5% of all board seats in 2023. Despite the commendable progress, more can still be done to achieve the target of 30% women representation in boards. To accelerate this progress, Deloitte introduced the Board-Ready Women Program (BRW) in 2023, in partnership with BoardRoom, Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia, and 30% Club Malaysia.

Why be part of the program?

  • Gain valuable insights into the role of a women board member
  • Optimise soft skills and develop a clear value-adding proposition for stakeholders
  • Understand the competencies expected from today’s directors

When will the sessions be held?

The 2024 program will be conducted in-person, four half-day sessions, from July to October 2024.
