BERLIN Project – Second newsletter

The consortium of the project “BERLIN – Cost-effective rehabilitation of public buildings into smart and resilient nano-grids using storage” published the second newsletter of the project to disseminate information about the progress of its pilot activities.

In the second newsletter you can discover more about the progress of the technical preparation of the pilot installations in Cyprus, Greece, Italy and Israel and the creation of the Intelligent Utilisation of PV Technology in the MED region hub (IUPVMED hub).

The project, which is funded by the European Union under the ENI CBC Med Programme, brings together seven organisations from four Mediterranean countries, Cyprus, Greece, Israel and Italy, including Deloitte in Cyprus. BERLIN aims to implement cross border pilot measures to support innovative and cost-effective energy rehabilitations in public buildings based on the nanogrid concept, the building block for smart microgrids.

Deloitte, through its Innovation & Entrepreneurship Centre (IEC), has an important role in the dissemination, networking and capitalisation of the results as well as in the financial analysis and the quality management of the project.

You can read the second newsletter in the following link.
