Welcome to our 11th Transparency Report
Our Audit Transparency Report 2022 covers the period from 1 June 2021 to 31 May 2022.
Embracing the principles behind the Transparency Report, we are pleased to set out our approach to ensuring audit quality, robust governance, and ethics.
Our ongoing considerable investment in our audit processes, policies, technologies, and accountability measures give us confidence that the controls applied to enhance the quality of our audits, will allow us to act in the public interest and deliver results that consistently exceed the expectations of our stakeholders. Proactive identification and response to emerging issues is key, hence a new focus of our agenda this year has been on environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations with a special focus on climate.
We see this Report as an opportunity to share our vision for the transformation of Audit, our passion for professional excellence and the actions we are taking towards our unwavering commitment to improve audit quality and rebuild the public interest in audit. Furthermore, we commit that at Deloitte, we will continue to collaborate with regulators and other key stakeholders to provide the crucial assurance needed for the effective functioning of the capital markets.
