Michael Aris Michaelides

Michael is a Tax & Legal (T&L) Partner at Deloitte Cyprus, specialising in local and international taxation. He offers tax advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients which includes high net worth individuals, private companies and multinational enterprises. He commenced his career with Deloitte UK in London, where he qualified as a chartered accountant and transferred to Deloitte Cyprus in 2011. Michael has wide experience in advising his clients on tax compliance matters, mergers, acquisitions, financing structures and corporate restructurings.

Michael holds a B.Sc. (First Class) in Mathematics with Economics from University College London (UCL) and an M.Phil in Finance from the University of Cambridge. He is a fellow member of the  ICAEW and holds the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT), awarded with distinction by the CIOT. He is a member of the board of directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Cyprus, a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus and appointed on its tax policy and strategy committee.
