Physical security assessments
The success of every cyberattack depends on the resources the adversaries are willing to spend and the profit they can achieve. Is it really faster, thus less expensive, to carefully craft a phishing campaign or to physically enter the target’s premises and gain a foothold by just connecting a simple device to a network port? Assess your physical security posture by specialized team of consultants and penetration testers.
Physical Security Test
An individual having physical access poses a significant threat as they can engage in various malicious activities. These activities may include the theft of documents or intellectual property, the installation of network dropboxes, keyloggers, surveillance cameras, and listening devices. They may also create backdoors in computer systems, gain unauthorized control over Operational Technology components, or even carry out acts of sabotage.
Our Physical Security Test is meticulously designed to emulate the actions of an actual attacker attempting to breach a company's physical security. Our Deloitte professionals have a proven record with physical security testing and are among a very few holders of RTA Covert Entry Associate certification worldwide.
The objective extends beyond merely gaining entry to a site or building. It also assesses how deep an intruder can penetrate, the extent of their operational freedom, the potential damage they can inflict, and the point at which they are detected, if at all.
The physical penetration test exposes weaknesses in company’s physical security, tests on-site security staff, motivates the security team, and identifies slackers.
The output is a final report containing an executive summary, a summary of tested targets, methodologies used, and a list of discovered issues, including recommendations for possible mitigations.
Physical Executive Consult
Senior executives frequently become targets for criminals because of the sensitive data they can access, the corporate reputation they represent, or the intrinsic value they hold. This situation poses a potential risk to the business, including the threat of kidnapping.
Our Physical Executive Consult provides real-time identification of physical security weaknesses, demonstrates exploits, and offers immediate recommendations for mitigation.
Deloitte consultants can examine an executive's or any company’s property in a collaborative manner to identify gaps in the physical security such as easy to bypass doors, windows, fences, and examine the setup of alarms, sensors, garage/gate keyfobs, camera’s coverage, and other security measures.
Ensuring the executive can be secured reduces the risk for the executive, their family and the company.
