Colette Šinská

Colette Šinská is an Attorney-at-Law in the Environment department at Deloitte Legal in Prague with more than 4 years of experience in environmental regulation. She primarily focuses on carbon tax (CBAM regulation), waste legislation, Extended Producer Responsibility, and greenhouse gas emission allowance legislation.  

Colette specialises in the emerging regulatory issues around the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism and provides a comprehensive bespoke service in relation to preparing companies for the new obligations arising from this legislation. As part of her work at Deloitte Legal, she also focuses on the legal activities of Producer Responsibility Organisations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as well as the specifics of the European Emissions Trading System. 

Colette has vast experience in ensuring compliance with complex public regulatory requirements, implementing circular economy policies and analysing waste management legislation.
