Kateřina Devlin

Katerina is an Attorney-at-Law at Tax Litigation Department at Deloitte Legal. She graduated from the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague and spent two semesters at the School of Law of the University of Nottingham in England.

Katerina joined Deloitte in January 2019 and specializes in tax proceedings, tax litigation and the state’s liability in damages for wrongful administrative acts. She has experience with client representation in disputes over VAT frauds, abuse of rights, research and development projects, VAT deductions and entitlements arisen from tax administration bodies’ unlawful actions.

In her previous work experience at the General Financial Directorate of the Czech Republic, United Nation High Commissioner for Refugees and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic she focused on litigations, tax proceedings, administrative proceedings, the state’s liability in damages for wrongful administrative acts, legal disputes, refugee law, social rights, labour law and international relations.
