Webcast
Do you want to attract the best talent worldwide for your company?
Whether you use employees or service providers, the set-up should be carefully considered and well structured to avoid any unexpected surprises from an employment and tax perspective.
In terms of employment law, there is the risk of being accused of non-compliance with the German Act on Temporary Agency Work and other regulations, with the cross-border and cross-company employment of staff abroad posing particular challenges for companies. Special features of employment law must also be taken into account when directly employing staff abroad and assessing the risks of bogus self-employment.
From a tax perspective, companies risk double taxation, excessive administrative burdens such as registration, reporting and local payroll obligations. In addition, there may be criminal consequences for the individuals involved, fines and reputational damage for the companies.
Join our Deloitte Legal Update Webcast on April 10, 2024 to learn how to avoid this and achieve your business goals in a legally and fiscally optimal manner. From an employment law perspective, we will focus on the employer of record. From a tax perspective, we will cover reporting lines, permissible activities abroad, and compliance management.
You are welcome to use the webcast as an opportunity for an in-depth discussion with our employment law expert, attorney Rafael Hertz, and our tax law specialists, attorney and tax advisor Christoph Welter and tax advisor Tobias Kruse.
Register today and take the opportunity to send us your questions in advance so that we can take them into account in our webcast.
We look forward to your participation.
